Giulia Tripoti is a 33 years old songwriter From Rome, she has a strong propensity for composition and arrangements, she bases her musical production on contamination between genres. Love and struggle songs, between folk, prog and world music
Roman songwriter Giulia Tripoti’s first album has a sound that reflects her multifaceted artistic background, ranging from pop to songwriting, through progressive, rock, world music and popular struggle songs. Among the special guests of the album, the name of the bass player Tony Levin (King Crimson, Peter Gabriel, etc..) stands out together with the guitar player of its Stick Men Trio: Markus Reuter. Besides we have the great greek-turkish bouzouki player: Orhan Osman (he has collaborated with Dave Weckl in its last album) and Francesco Moneti, violinist of the band Modena City Ramblers with which Giulia has had several live and studio collaborations. The album has been entirely produced and recorded by Giulia Tripoti, it’s been mixed and burned by herself together with the support of the sound engineer Giancarlo Grevi. The record is printed and distributed by the label Terre Sommerse (Rome) and the drawings on the cover and inside the booklet have been made by Lucio Villani.
